Also Out On The Fringeworlds...

Yesterday, out in the main room, i posted a triptych featuring posters from The Registry's fund raising lottery in The Third Colony (the game i'm building to keep the brain working in my hermit cave).

This one-

As mentioned previously, it's a dark and deranged game world filled with sex, drugs and rock & roll. (But not limited to R&R - we open with Curtis Mayfield ((Don't Worry)If There's Hell Down Below, We're All Gonna Go), you'll find Hugh Masakela's Emavungweni playing at the monthly Lullaby Festival to keep C'thul'hu sleeping. Hit a cave rave and you might find Moondog's Stamping Ground. Like much of the game, it's a weird mix. One of the beauties of no expectation of completion and release on the game, no worries about music rights) And the villains may not behave according to cinematically approved behaviour guidelines.

So, several days after the official posters go up, others start to appear.

You may recall Jack from the G.C. Rejects...

I won't say you can't die in the game. But that doesn't end the game. In a world where mad scientists, magic, aliens, and the Fae intersect death is simply another stage of the game. A Lot of folks have use for a dead body, and it might not stay dead for long. Or might be animate dead. Or the PC could wind up like Jon Voight at his best in Fearless Frank's Greatest Adventure - a zombie hero under the command of a mad scientist. The game goes on.

Falling into death traps or losing battles doesn't terminate the PC. They'll have opportunities for escape, and if those fail it's a world full of superheroes - rescue is inevitable. Eventually.

However, might i suggest that you NOT get captured by this particular maniac...?

Jack does like his teasing threats...
